Logan Murray
Thyme Square
Once a-upon a Thyme Logan moved to the quaint town of Arrowtown carrying only a snowboard and a single backpack. Quickly running out of money he stumbled into a kitchen hand job which unbeknown to him was the globally recognized restaurant 'Saffron'. Logan worked his way up the ranks with seasonal Michelin chefs from around the world.
"Inspiring me with passion for the craft, I was left hungry for other cultures' cuisine", says Logan. This desire lead him to spend months at a time abroad experiencing different aspects of food from Thai markets and street eats to dining out through Europe. Throughout these experiences he never held back, introducing himself to the head chefs and owners, and learning their techniques.
"Between countries and little ventures, I worked alongside some of the Waikato's most inspiring chefs leading to where I am today". Logan wears many hats as the Founder, Designer, Builder, Soul Director and Chef of Hamilton's Home of Intermate Dining Thyme Square Restaurant.
