Simon Sheehy

The Public Office

Simon's foodie journey started when he decided to start a Diploma in Professional Cookery at Wintec. From this he won a scholarship to work in the UK and then went on to work in various restaurants, cafes and catering companies.

Noticing a gap in the market, in 2017 Simon along with his wife Sarah set up Orchard Providores to provide high quality catering to the wider Hauraki Plains and Coromandel area. In September 2020 Orchard Providores grew to include their new restaurant and cafe The Public Office based in Ngatea. Bringing people together over good food and beverage is why we do what we do.
